The San Luis Obispo Buddhist Temple celebrated the traditional Obon Festival on Saturday.
Organizers say the festival honored ancestors with gratitude for their hard work and sacrifices. Families and community members got to enjoy food, games, live performances, and shop from vendors.
The event also featured free dance classes and wrapped up with a traditional Japanese dance.
